The episode starts with Meethi Mai talking to Veer. She tells him that his wife will come back. She says that yesterday, Veer shouted so much that his voice echoed in her ears. Meethi Mai says she will punish Veer’s wife because of this. Veer begs her not to harm his wife.
He says his wife is everything to him and even touches Meethi Mai’s feet to show how much he cares. Meethi Mai asks what he is thinking and says she will take care of his wife. She leaves, and a piece of a bracelet gets stuck on her saree. Veer hopes that Bulbul will see the bracelet piece.
Meethi Mai goes to meet Bulbul. A fake sadhu (holy man) stumbles, and water spills from his pot onto Bulbul, making her fall at Meethi Mai’s feet. Bulbul sees the bracelet piece and remembers everything. She picks up the bracelet piece and asks Meethi Mai where her husband, the thanedar (police officer), is.
Bulbul says she gave the bracelet to her husband and found it on Meethi Mai’s saree. She grabs Meethi Mai’s neck and demands to know where her husband is. The fake sadhus arrive and ask Bulbul to let go.
Meethi Mai tells the fake sadhus that Bulbul is not wrong; she is just asking questions. She asks them to leave. The fake sadhu goes to the imposter Veer and tells him to meet the ACP’s wife.
Meethi Mai tells Bulbul that Veer is here and that she saw him in a bad condition on the street. She says Veer didn’t want to meet Bulbul because he is on a secret mission. Bulbul doesn’t believe her and says her husband would never say that. Meethi Mai insists she won’t keep them apart.
The fake Veer puts on makeup and comes to meet Bulbul. She hugs him but feels uncomfortable, realizing he is not her husband. She remembers a story about Mata Parvati identifying an imposter and thinks she must pretend to believe Meethi Mai until she finds her real husband.
Bulbul asks the fake Veer why he didn’t want to meet her. He says he didn’t want her or the family to see his injury and reminds her he is on a secret mission. Bulbul thinks he is lying and compares him to her favorite hero, Shah Rukh Khan. The fake Veer asks if her favorite heroes keep changing and mentions Kartik Aryan. Bulbul calls him Veer ji, and he asks why she used that name instead of thanedar sa.
Bulbul says she will go home and asks him to rest. She mentions wearing earrings he gave her on prom night, and he compliments her. This confirms her suspicion that he is an imposter.
Bulbul asks Meethi Mai to let her make food for the Ashram. The imposter removes his mask, saying he must wear it until their mission is complete. Meethi Mai refuses Bulbul’s request, but Bulbul insists.
